Type

Specifies the type of positions you want to open.

  • Long only - signals will fire on bull trends, while bear trends will trigger technical ranging.

  • Short only - signals will fire on bear trends, while bull trends will trigger technical ranging.

  • Long and Short - signals will fire on bull and bear trends.

Ranging Mode

Sets trend-based technical ranging on or off. Technical ranging triggered by setting to 'Long only' or 'Short only' and will not be affected. Deactivating Ranging Mode can be useful if ranging conditions occur too frequently and you wish to extend trend duration. If the system can not determine trend direction when Ranging Mode is deactivated, it will use the direction of the previous trend.
