VPVR shows trade volume at particular price levels over the visible time frame on a chart, as opposed to over a fixed period.
VPVR can be used to:
Identify support and resistance levels.
Identify the Point of Control, the highest traded price.
Recognize the 'fair value' area where most volume occurred.
Analyze market strength and potential breakouts.
Decide on trade entries and exits around key volume areas.
Specifies the number of lookback periods used to calculate VPVR.
Specifies the percentage above or below the point of control that will be considered ranging. Prices that exceed the upper threshold of this range will trigger a bull trend and those that exceed the lower threshold will trigger a bear trend. Set to 0 to disable.
