Deep Backtesting Steps

  1. Load the Lendal Pro Tester indicator and apply settings.

  2. Navigate to the in TradingView and relaunch Pro Tester by clicking on the gear icon (shown below).

  3. Activate Deep Backtesting (shown below).

  1. Specify the time period to be backtested and generate a report.

Refreshing Report Data

Deep Backtesting results do not update automatically if configurations are changed after generating a report. Generate a new report to refresh backtest data.

Deep Backtesting can be used to match the date of the first trade in the Pro Tester with the 'start of test' date in the Pro Trader Calculations Table. See the section for more detail.
