In Lendal Pro Trader, strategies can be optimized using the Calculations Table. However, configurations including risk management elements must be into the Pro Tester for backtesting using the . The section provides further details on the extended backtest capabilities of the Pro Tester.
Strategies optimized in the Pro Tester must be exported to the Pro Trader for use, as the Pro Tester can not generate signals or trigger TradingView alerts. The section provides details on fine-tuning configurations in the Pro Tester.
Configurations imported from a visualizer will only affect the equivalent settings in the Pro Tester. All other settings in the Pro Tester will remain unchanged. Pro Tester configurations can also be imported into a visualizer.
