Price Action (VPVR)

The Price Action (VPVR) determines trend direction with calculations based on the Volume Profile Visible Range technical indicator.

Periods

Specifies the number of lookback periods used to calculate VPVR.

Display Distance

Sets the distance between the current candle and the VPVR Visualizer.

Histogram Chart

Specifies the resolution of histogram bars in the VPVR Visualizer.

Ranging Width %

Specifies the percentage above or below the point of control that will be considered ranging. Prices that exceed the upper threshold of this range will trigger a bull trend and those that exceed the lower threshold will trigger a bear trend. Set to 0 to disable.

Point of Control Width

Specifies the Point of Control width in the VPVR Visualizer. Increasing this value will increase the horizontal width of the histogram.

Confluence at Cross Only

When selected, VPVR confluence will only activate if a cross occurs in a trend that matches the direction of the parent algorithm.
